Quality Inn Macomb near University Area

The staff was the nicest I have ever experienced! So thoughtful and helpful and just smiling and friendly! Really really appreciate that! My husband had come later after I had checked in and they didn’t recognize him and it was much later in the evening. The staff knew my room numbers and asked him multiple questions to make sure it was safe to give him our room info. As a mom that is something I won’t ever be able to express just how much I appreciate that! My kiddos has a great time in the pool as well!

This place was very cool. The pool was closed due to repainting. The room smelled like curry right as we walked in. I think the prices are pretty reasonable for this hotel. Sadly I did not get breakfast. My room was cool it had a mini fridge a TV a AC and a shower. The room has some wear and tear but it was functional and cozy.

This is a nice hotel! The rooms are good sized and the beds are comfortable. There is a microwave and refrigerator in each room, also a table and chairs. The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. There is a pool, guest laundry, vending machines and a small breakfast. The pool is not in use at the moment because of Covid. All of the staff are very nice and helpful! This hotel is also pet friendly which is very important to us! The rates aren't bad either! We would definitely stay here again!

I was here for a week, looking at apartments in preparation for a future post-retirement move (back) to Macomb. I was traveling with my 24 pound Boston Terrier dog as well. I found the service very good, and the staff fairly pleasant. I realized that the managers' wife didn't really care for dogs, but it wasn't really a problem. We had a nice stay-- and found our future home. Thanks!

Staff was amazing and service was top notch. Never one word of negativity. The breakfast bar was great! I especially liked the patio area to hang outside and enjoy the weather. They even had grills if you wanted to cook out. My one and one issue was the black mole on the ceiling of the bathroom. Definitely could use some bleach spray and the room smelt damp and wet. We got used to it.

Room was very clean staff was great. Pool was a little cold to swim in, but very clean.

Great location for University visits. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating when adding another room at the last minute, plus kept our rooms together, not on a separate floor or down the corridor, and reasonably priced. The rooms were clean but could use a little updating with the bathrooms. Overall, we had no issues during our stay! We would stay again if/when we travel that way.

Great option in Macomb if you are visiting the WIU campus. Rooms are clean, parking was easy and breakfast included.
